It didn’t live up to the Hype

It was one of the most anticipated fights in boxing history. The two best fighters of their era. Although it wasn’t a bad fight, Mayweather and Pacquiao just didn’t live up to the hype. The fact of the matter is this. The fight took too long to happen, both fighters are no longer in their primes, and no matter what you tell me, Boxing just looks from the outside like a rigged sport, so you have to question it’s legitimacy. These guys are tremendous. Pacquiao has the heart of 100 men and Mayweather is arguably the greatest of all time. However, there was something missing from this fight. Maybe it’s just the fact that boxing is a dying breed and it’s not what it was 10 or even 20 years ago. I’m not here to bash the fight, or sport, even though it may seem like I am. I’m simply just stating my opinion that with all of the hype and drama surrounding last night, it just didn’t simply do enough for me and I don’t think I’m alone on this one.
